Sounding Like A Lot of Noise!! 🗣📣🎶

Now that tax season is right around the corner. The seasons emotions seem to infect us with confusion. Similar to the questions "to be vaccinated?" or "not to be vaccinated?"

Now that most of us have drained our bank accounts spoiling our (Not Spoiled) children, and discovering our "New Year New Me" self. Familiar themes like, being over Mariah Carey's beautiful spirit lifting high notes and the realization that "Damn I'm Broke!" start to set in.

After attending a very exciting two quarters of basketball between the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls.

That is before The Nets started giving us that spanking. You know the one you're going to get when you got home, after misbehaving in class.

"Yup that bad"

It's midnight as we are leaving the arena I receive a text 3 paragraphs long! We all know what that means. It was from one of my tenants, a noise complaint about the family living above them. They were "Playing Basketball" and of course all of the profanity that comes along with the annoyance.

In my head I could do nothing but laugh! what are the odds? I wonder if their game was more interesting than mine? As I reassure them that I will speak with the family to show a little more courtesy. The situation was diffused. "I Thought!"

It is now around 3:30am. I recieve a text 3 paragraphs long. A noise complaint, this time from the family above complaining about the family who just complained about them! In my head I pictured a two family Tug of War. "Squid Games style!" battling over who can be louder. Again, more interesting than the game I just left.

Of course I reassured them I will speak to the family also.

Predicting the next series of events that were going to occur, as I try to referee the "Battle of The Noises." A very simple "respect each other or leave" text was the best I could muster giving I still had crust in my eyes.

Hopeful for next month 😁

Leaving a noisy arena disappointed having to dealing with noise complaints, life has the best sense of humor!!

Being a landlord is a lot of...... We're just going to call it "The Spice of Life." Let's see what happens next!
